Little Word Lab began at home with two young learners — a soon-to-be kindergartner and a 1st grader.
Every Monday, my 1st grader comes home with a list of high-frequency words. I wanted a simple place where my kids could spend 15–30 minutes learning a word, its meaning, and how it is used — without distractions.
Just one word. A clear definition. A simple sentence.
So I started adding the weekly words into a small web database. What began as something for my own children is slowly growing into a vocabulary resource for other families too.
Little Word Lab is a growing project and a work in progress. New words are added regularly as we build it together.
